Glow-in-the-Dark Headphones FAQ

AA-00466

It is normal for the glow intensity (luminance) to dim as you use the headphones.  It is also normal for the luminance of the headphones to reduce once they are removed from a light source.  To restore the luminance effect, please follow these instructions:

  1. Find a light source such as a lamp or sunlight.
  2. Expose the headphones to the light source for as little as 15 minutes.
  3. Take the headphones to a dark location immediately. In the dark, the headphones should glow.

PLEASE NOTE:  The time it takes to restore the luminance of glow-in-the-dark headphones varies depending on the light source and intensity. The stronger the light, the quicker the luminance will be restored.  TDK Life on Record glow-in-the-dark headphones have been tested against the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17398 illumination standard.
