What is the expected compatibility for TDK Life on Record branded optical discs?
 

 We suggest that you check the disc MID. (Refer to the separate article on how to find the Disc MID).  Once you know the disc MID (not to be confused with the disc ID) you can check to see if the MID is compatible with your drive.
 
 Other info:
The TDK MID was used on discs manufactured by TDK Corp. Many drive manufacturers tuned their drives to these MIDs and have included the TDK MID on their compatibility lists.
 
 When Imation acquired the TDK brand it was re-branded as TDK Life on Record. We use TDK MIDs on some discs as required by our business customers and use our manufacturer's MIDs for all other discs manufactured under the TDK Life on Record brand.
