Can an Flash Drive be infected with a virus?

A Flash Drive can be infected with a virus if you save a virus-infected file to the unit or it is plugged into a virus infected computer.  A virus-infected drive can then infect any other computers you might use with the drive. Avoid issues by using anti-virus software on your computer and update it regularly with the most recent virus definitions.

Some of the IronKey products can optionally be purchased with antivirus software on the flash drive itself to minimize the possiblilty of the flash drive becoming infected.
